Creating a logo with scenery in a frame
Start by creating a rectangle using rectangular shape tool.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Create some rectangles as shown in the image below.
Create an ellipse using elliptical shape tool.
Enable subtract form shape area form the top bar.
Create two rectangle using rectangular shape tool as shown.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Similarly create other shapes to create a valley scene.
Create a circle for the sun using elliptical shape tool.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Create a few shapes as shown using pen tool. Fill with black color.
Create a few birds using custom shape tool. Fill with black color.
Except all the black layers select and merge other layers. From filter menu select noise>>add noise. Apply settings as shown.
Select and merge all the black layers. Change the layer mode to dissolve.
Type the company name and place it below the scenery logo.

Splash Page for a DVD Software
Start by applying the default chrome gradient to the background layer.
From filter menu apply brush strokes>>spatter.
Apply settings as shown.
Duplicate layer. Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select flip horizontal.
Change the layer mode to multiply.
Merge all layers. From filter menu select blur>>radial blur. Apply settings as shown.
Type software name with a bold font.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Insert a cutout of a monitor or TV screen and apply some glow.
Duplicate the text layer. Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select flip vertical. Reduce the opacity.
Place necessary logos on top right of the splash page.
Type version info on top left of the splash page.
Create a rectangular selection using rectangular marquee tool. Cover almost all the area of the splash page leaving space for a thin border.
Press Ctrl+Shift+I to inverse the selection. Create a new layer on top of all layers. Fill with black color.

Logo with a Paper Plane

Logo with a Paper Plane
Start by creating a triangle using polygon shape tool.
Press Ctrl+R to view rulers and create a guide at the center of the triangle.
Create another small triangle.
Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select flip vertical.
Place this triangle as shown.
Using pen tool create a triangle shape connecting top of big and small triangle. Fill with a light gray color.
Using pen tool draw a shape as shown. Use any color of your choice.
Duplicate the layer twice.
Select the three layers and enable distribute vertical centers from the top bar. place as shown below.
Adjust the nodes of the three layers using direct selection tool.
Press Ctrl+T and rotate it.
Using pen tool create a trail shape.
Right click and rasterize the layer. Select eraser tool with a big feathered brush and erase the bottom of the trail.
Fill background with a bright color.
Change the layer mode of trail layer to overlay.
Type company name using a nice font.
